The Nuclear Safety Directive 2014/87/Euratom requires EU Member States to undertake, every six years, national assessments on a specific topic related to nuclear safety, followed by a peer review by other Member States, with the European Commission as an observer.
The preparations of the second topical per review on fire protection started in 2021.
The finalised country reports and the received replies to written questions on the national reports are available here: EU Member States / Other countries.
