• ENSREG debated the potential means for the improvement of the relationship and communications with the Commission following the publication of the stress test communication and discussed potential ways and conditions, for collaboration and consultation with the EC in respect of the proposed new revised Nuclear Safety Legislation.
• ENSREG endorsed the work of WG1 regarding the ENSREG guidelines for member states reports under Art 9.1 of the council directive 2009/71/EURATOM.
• ENSREG endorsed the continuation of the work of WG1 towards refining the design and planning for the national action plan peer review exercise under the guidance of the event chairman Dr. Klonck.
• ENSREG approved the creation of WG4 - International cooperation.
• Mr.Hedberg of Sweden was elected as the new chair of ENSREG WG2 to replace Mr.Minon. ENSREG wishes to thank Mr. Minon for his work for the past 2 years.
• ENSREG endorsed the continuation of the work of WG2 towards the development of a common reporting format for member states reports to the waste directive and on the proposed peer review process of these reports in collaboration with IAEA.
• ENSREG discussed the results of the seminar on safety of nuclear power plants against aircraft impacts. The wide range of approaches to the analysis and evaluation of such event might suggest actions to identify their relative strengths and weaknesses. It was emphasised that the aircraft crash was a particular case of a more general case concerning a large external event on the plant and that actions in this more general direction might be more appropriate.
• An outline of the draft programme for the ENSREG conference to be organised on the 10-11 June 2013 in Brussels, was presented and further development of these themes was approved
