Participating countries have submitted their national reports, which are open for comments until the end of February.
The Nuclear Safety Directive 2014/87/Euratom requires EU Member States to undertake, every six years, national assessments on a specific topic related to nuclear safety, followed by a peer review by other Member States, with the European Commission as an observer.
The first topical per review concerns the 'ageing management' of nuclear reactors or, more specifically, the ageing effects on structures, systems and components.
A specific webpage has been designed to collect the feedback from the general public and stakeholders on the national reports prepared by Member States and other participating countries. Another webpage has been designed to collect the questions from the peer reviewers.
These two webpages are open for the submission of questions and comments on the national reports until 28 February 2018:

The reports are available for consultation here: EU Member States / Other countries.
